Hey,
Heres some pics from the Make it a Double Comp that I won the best trick at a while ago. To see them in the galleries click here and look under Make it a Double Comp 07
Weathers been pretty bad for the last few days, ita??s nearly May and still snowing. Wea??re expecting 20 a?? 30 cm tomorrow. Went up today and just cruised around with Ants Leffelaar and a few other NZ crew. The park is looking sweet and it should be an awesome May.
I just went down to Vancouver yesterday and picked up a newer car. The 87 escort was pretty ghetto so I up graded to a 96 escort for $1200. It seems to be running good so hopefully doesna??t turn out to be a lemon.
Hi there, wow, it’s been a while since my last update, been busy busy busy!!!
Went to Aussie briefly to go and see The Pixies, that was awesome!! and apart from that, I’ve just been riding quite a bit, shot a few pics for a upcoming Shadow Conspiracy ad in the next 20/20 magazine, so keep an eye out for that. Also keep an eye on www.colonybmx.com.au the new website should be up any day soon, so that will be a treat.
I’m looking forward to putting together a new bike in the next month or so, gonna be getting one of my friends and team mate Nick Richardson’s Bloody Oath frame, just waiting for the prototypes to be done. Been riding here and there but have been so busy doing so much other stuff lately, hopefully that all dies down soon, then I will be able to get some decent riding shots for the website, and some new video footy! but for now, here’s some random shots that I took with my cell phone from a tour that I did with the rest of my Colony team mates, around the South Island of NZ, check out the sweet house we stayed in at Queenstown!! The dvd from the tour will be out soon so I’ll get some footage onto the website for ya!! enjoy!!

Here are some of the pics I took with Verve in Christchurch last weekend:

The Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival came to an end last night. Was a pretty sweet week with 2 big air comps, a rail comp, a slopestyle, a pipe comp and over 50 open air concerts. My buddy Craig Beauleiu won overall taking home a brand new Pontiac G5 car. The best concert was Prevail who is one of the Swollen members MC’s. Trying to buy a new car at the moment to get away from the crappy escort that I’ve been driving for most of the season.
Spring has arrived in Whistler, girls are wearing less clothes in the village but the snow is still consistently falling on the hill. We still have a base of over 3 metres and the snow is often like mid winter although it’s mid april.
I entered a slopestyle a few weeks ago and placed 1st in the open division. Was super stoked, it’s the first time I’ve won a contest in Canada.
At the moment it’s the “Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival,” the largest event it whistler for the season. It’s a whole week with over 50 open air concerts that you and board right to. There’s a rail jam on tonight with some hip hop dudes, should be fun.
In a few weeks I’m sitting the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructor Level 4 qualification. This is the highest possible snowboard qualification in Canada. I’m doing a bit of training at the moment.
Well had a super fun surf yesterday………..Verve the local photographer came out to take some photos of me……. apparently he got some goodies……so looking forward to seeing them!! When I get them I’ll send them through
Hey guys, I have to be pretty stoked at the moment after winning the South Island Champs contest down in Dunedin over Easter. There were a few good waves around the Otago Peninsula as always! Then it was the University Games in Christchurch, where a crazy number of students participated in various sports, including surfing. It was first place for me in both the long boarding and short boarding! It was cool just being able to contribute to Canterbury winning the overall shield for the first time in eight years and of course, beating Otago! Yay.
Stoked to be able to get a few less crowded waves around the East coast down south at the moment with water temperatures cooling down a bit in the the last few weeks. Lots of people are booking tickets away to warmer waters… personally I would love to, yet am looking forward to some snow on the slopes around Canterbury to keep me busy aver winter.
At the end of the year a trip away will certainly be desirable, Hawaii perhaps!!!There will still be plenty of surfing between then and now of course! Going to the West Coast next week to soak up some quality surf ….hopefully! Will be in touch soon!
