wwa wakeboard national champs results June 28, 2007 by Brad Smeele (Wakeboarder)

It was the Air Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships in Wisconsin last weekend. I had a good ride but didnt advance as I fell once just after the 3/4 buoy so I missed out on a few tricks. Rusty Malinoski was named the victor.

new sponsor: vans shoes June 23, 2007 by Haimona Ngata (Freestyle BMX)

Well, after seven long years, I’ve decided to leave my long time sponsor Etnies Footwear to ride for Vans Shoes.

This decision doesn’t come lightly, but it’s time for a change, and there are some projects that are going to be coming up soon with Vans that I’m excited about.

Etnies were my first sponsor, and I would like to thank Marcus, Larry, and Justin at ASM for hooking me up over the years, and for all the good times!

So, my current Sponsor Roster for 2007 is:

Colony BMX Company, The Shadow Conspiracy, Vans Shoes, Mountain Dew, Burger Fuel, Oakley Eyewear, Protec Helmets, Triple Six Distro.

Thanks to everyone for their support, it’s muchly appreciated! I now have a full filming setup so expect some new footage soon…

Cheers, Haimona

Snow Park NZ opened today with 100% covereage, “the recent dry weather and ideal cool temperature have created perfect conditions for snowmaking and the guns have been blasting for nearly two weeks. The groomers have been busy compacting the snow to create a good firm base.”

So if your in the area come check it out.

You can still view MDTV Episode 1 – Coronet Peak Opening Day here.
