season update

Yo wot up! So winter in Qt is coming to an end with the days heating up and the snow melting pretty quick. Good spring conditions up Remarks tho! I’m done for the season, apart from a few lazy runs, as I kooked it in the last Remarks slopestyle and seperated my shoulder and gave myself a good concussion. So now with a sprained wrist still and my new shoulder injury I’m just hanging out with the physio. Good times tho, its all free!
Just spent a couple of nights up at Ohau, one of the boys has access to a pretty sick lil bach! Tim Ryan organised an end of season Gaper Day! Everyone managed to find pretty amazing old school gears and Ohau turned it on for us with some fresh snow! I was up taking pics while the rather colourful mob got boozed, loud and RADICAL! I got some pretty funny pics below just so you can see what I’m talking about!

Anyways plans for me now are to get better, get rich and then get overseas and back into it!!!
Enjoy the end of the winter….
peace
Sup crew,
Last weekend was the Volcom Peanut Butter and Rail Jam up at Snowpark. It was a super fun setup so I thought it’d be good to have a jam. I ended up winning it so it was a rad weekend for sure. The snow is melting fast but Snowpark still has been on point with some slushy riding and sweet times.
I head up north at the end of this week with a bit of a crew so no doubt Ruapehu will be on!! Hopefully I can ride some volcanic ash or something. hahaha.
Watch the MDTV episode of the Volcom Rail Jam here…
Sorry I have been out of contact for the last little while, with moving into a new house and not having power for a while then not having internet I fell off the radar.
I had ‘Double or Nothing’ two weeks ago, I spent my whole 15 minute run trying 1080’s with no luck of riding one away, I came stupidly close though. I will get it in the next few weeks.
The weekend after was surf expo… It was a good weekend to meet a bunch of new potential sponsors, it was also good to be able to sit down with my current sponsors and talk about what building on our relationship. Things went really well especially with Oakley who have now put me on their ‘A’ team.
Today I did some filming with Christian Fitzpatrick for his new film ‘Ozinus’, Mitch Langfield and I went out to Mt Dora to ride with my good friend Alex Brown, it was a crazy day! I got some awesome footage for the DVD including my newest trick the toe side 720 into the flats, Twice in a row.
I will be doing plenty more filming for Ozinus over the next few weeks.

Check ya later
Brad

Check the crew including Roland Morley Brown and Andy Kennerly as they hit up The Ramarkables for some spring shredding and even a step up jump hit.

Sup sup,
The last few weeks have been a bit of a chill down period. I landed on a rail on my thigh and got a solid bruise. I rode a bit too soon after and it re-bled into a hemotomer and couldn’t ride for a week. Have been back up this past week though and getting back into filming the Trick Tips DVD for net years NZ Snowboard Magazine. We’ve got through most the jumping and now it’s the jibbing section of it all.
Most the internationals have all left so the hills have quitened down heaps around town. I’m here in Wanaka for 2 more weeks and then I’m off to Chch and Mt Hutt for a week or so. Then it’ll be up to the North Island to trade show and then Ruapehu.
Bring on spring!!!
Holler
