Hi Guys in Whanga at mo having a great time got awesome pumping waves the day we arrived. I had the best surf. Unfortunately I had a shocker in my heat the next day. The girls were surfing well so credit to them. Still having a great time and tomorrow weather depending we will be doing a photoshoot with Silas from Surfing NZ mag, we may head over 2 the west coast. Tonight is also the industry event party so that will be fun to catchup with everyone. Oh also check out Curl mag I heard that I have an editorial in it. Cya

Aotearoa offers so much, we have a lot of wonderful native bush, birds, insects and breathe taking coastlines. The amount of freedom we have to live in nooks with barely a sole in sight or a city with busy people hustling past is incredible. It is up to us, we can choose what ever suits our lifestyle.

The reason for such deep thoughts about New Zealand and its’ beauty is because at this minute I am being inspired by the bird songs, the cicadas’ tuuurp and the cool breeze which is floating through the ferns and Punga trees with the coast not far for a dip to cool the limbs.

Eleven days of being on the road has been awesome, we have so far covered spots which have been experienced before but every time has something different going on. The west coast offered us some beautiful waves with a huge crowd but surprisingly mellow vibes. We then made our way over east where they have been starved for waves all summer but I can say now that we are in for a pumping surprise, nevertheless the water is beautiful, after have three swims and a classic kiwi BBQ under the Pohutukawa trees I had had my ocean fix. It is such a novelty coming from the South where yes it stays light for ages at night but the cool air tends to drive us back inside, here it is generally only the mozzies that will do that.

Dru and I have had a few fun surfs in Kaiks getting a couple  fun waves with the cousins at Clarence and Meaties. But for the last few days it has been pretty small, we heard that it was pumping on the West coast so we packed the car and headed over there on tuesday 4 hours later we hit Hot weather and the waves were up so we were stoked. got some waves at Cobden, Blaketown and a few beachies out front of the campsite. on the way home stopped off at Hanmer hotsprings and soaked our tired muscles and had a awesome feed at a bar across the road. NZ is so amazing!

Hey Guys, just letting ya know I made it here to Aspen for the 14th Winter X Games, I’ve had a day of practice and have a few more before I compete on the weekend. Fingers Crossed everybody…please….these jumps are gnarly! Il keep ya updated with pics of this crazy event. SO MUCH GOING ON!

Just had my sisters wedding, It was such a awesome day! Every body enjoyed the MD supplied too thanks heaps MD. We had some pretty classic wedding day pics where the bride, groom, best man and bridemaid - we all went stand up paddle boarding in our bridal clothes here is a couple of classic pics of the day.

So we got to stay in Zurich for a night before we flew back to Colorado. We def were the best tourists you have ever seen, ok well we didn’t have any maps….(you need a map to be a tourist) but we did take a million pics, check out this beautiful city. So amazing!
