The secret is out! Code Red has been spilled out accross Wellington… and I think im already addicted..

SO as promised, here’s a great picture of my buddy Danny getting a great Justin Bieber tattoo from my other good buddy the wazman.  Basically, we went to my house in Rotorua for another friend zombie mike’s stag weekend. Long story short but this happened after a few beers and other drinks. Ha! funny that!

I was lucky enough to get some time with her while she was back in NZ from her home base Melbourne. She was tattooing at Sacred Tattoo, which has a whole roost of awesome artists/tattooist. If you ever want a good tattoo, go check them out! K’rd here in Auckland.

Inside Tora (Wairarapa) was the scene for our Wellington Boardriders Club contest on Saturday. Competitors opted for a ‘Skins’ format and the hardy entry card went about the endurance event that is a skins (instant knockout) contest. The waves were a consistent 3 foot and the wind was relatively light. The perfect start to a long weekend!

Coming out on top with three heat wins in a row and the highest scoring wave of the event (8.8 out of a possible 10) was club member Darryl King of Houghton Bay. Congratulations to Darryl and well done to all competitors for participating. Points will be allocated and posted on our club points tally page shortly. Thanks to Rob for the PA and Waitaki Surf Co for the wax.

Wellington Groms are increasing in number and skill, wont be long before we have a team representing at the nationals again!!

Just letting ya know I made the mighty mission South, was a bit hairy with the snow, the wind, the flooding and a few closed roads but we made it yay! and super stoked to see lots a snow on all the Mts down here. Gunna be a gooooooood winter.
