This is my Christmas cheer here in Colorado. Thanks to the lovely Colin and Holly who have created some Christmas cheer.
American home away from home!
Merry Christmas everyone

HO! HO! HO! Merry Christmas……and all that jazz!
I’m back from my little trip to LA! It was my first trip outside of Australasia and man LA is a huge place!
It’s full of all types of bizarre characters, rad people and some damn tasty fast food too. I couldn’t stay away from those Taco Bell’s mmmm just thinking about that Nacho Cheese makes me drool……

I was very lucky to have my bro Ryan to show me the roots of LA in this beautiful 1951 Ford Pickup!
Also I copied Brett and got a Go-Pro camera while I was away.
I just gotta figure out how to edit the videos and then I’ll make a lil video of my trip.
PEACE OUT!

Thanks Mountain Dew for my new GO-PRO! I got some random footy of myself and the Irrom team on our trip to Wanganui a while back…
First day of competition at the DEW…

So the quals went down in Breck for the Dew Tour!
Check out who killed it and qualified 6th into the Semi’s, none other than Wanaka’s own Stefi Luxton (seen below demonstrating what her winning diet is based on here in the States)
Now Stefi, Possum and I all compete on Saturday so x the fingers for the Kiwis!!! Check out the pics and results for boys and girls quals. Boys were throwing down and it was only the start of competition.
Semi’s and Final’s are going to be crazy!!!

Winter Dew Tour – Semi Final highlights
December 20, 2011 by Christy Prior (Snowboarder)

Unfortunately I had to pull out of the Dew Tour Qualifiers this week but we had 3 other Kiwi girls holding it down for us including fellow Mountain Dew Ambassador Shelly Gotlieb!
Here is the video from the Semi-Final highlights…
Park Lane (Breckenridge’s medium park) is looking like it’s going to be fully up and running in no time which is exciting. Freeway (Breckenridge’s large park) will also be open to the public for the first time this season!
Getting my jump back on……
It has been COLD here lately! Sometimes only reaching a ‘High’ of -22 Degrees Celsius during the day… I don’t even want to know how cold it is at NIGHT!

My Kiwi buddy Kate Perriam gets to the States and as an acupuncturist would, she came fully equipped with needles for some much needed acupuncture!
Summers almost here…apart from this week of highly average weather!
Here’s a few photos from the Amazon G.O.S….

James Kingston took it out and grabbed a $1500 check on the way home…Nek Minit Levi Hawken was there saying what up to everyone!

Meanwhile I topped a mate’s fridge up at the Base.FM office.
Almost the whole Dew family in one fridge!
It’s time to leave the jandals, shorts and the hope of a sun tan as I’m off back to the USA for my winter.
It began with some snacks and pre-flight drinks in the Koru lounge and then a little ‘Flight of the Conchords’ in the customs line.
I got picked up on the other side in the best ride EVER by my best friends!
Check this out.
Then I went and checked out my friend Noah’s Cafe in Denver, CREMA, it’s awesome and one of the best coffees I’ve had in USA. Thank goodness I got a fix and some yummy food!
So if your ever in Denver I’d totally send you there to check it out!
So in Breck now, Dew Tour coming up and another great season coming up.
Have a great Christmas and Happy Holidays
Thanks Ronix for the new boards!! Now……which one to ride??
