Wake Games day one April 26, 2008 by Brad Smeele (Wakeboarder)

The qualifying rounds were on at the Wake Games yesterday, I was in the third heat with some other really good riders including Nick Davies (who can do 1080s on cable) Mike Marsh (first person ever to do a heelside 900 off the wake) as well as Oliver Derome and Veteran Zane Schwenk.I had a good ride starting with a pete rose followed by a nuclear glide to fakie, hit the transfer box and threw down a melon toeside 720 and crammed in a whirly.Second pass consisted of a batwing to blind and a whirly 5 and I fell on a toeside 900. I won my heat and have advanced into the quarter finals starting tomorrow.i will check back in with results.Peace
