NZSBU National Team member and 2008 NZSnowboard Women’s Rider of the year Shelly is new to the Dew Team this year and recently placed 5th in the US Burton Open. We flicked her a few quick questions on what her dream trick would be and what she would really like to achieve in her life . . .

FAVOURITE MOUNTAIN: Mt Ruapehu, Snowpark NZ, Breckenridge CO

FAVOURITE TERRAIN: Turoa!! Lucky I shred Mt Ruapehu so much. Snowpark too am a bit of a PARK RAT I guess

FAVOURITE TRICK: Cab spins at the moment, it changes often tho

WHAT WOULD YOUR DREAM TRICK BE? Like 5 backflips in a row…. everyone loves a backflip and like 5 would be like whoooaaa dude

WHAT GOALS DO YOU HAVE? To keep learning new tricks and progressing, stay having the most fun ever, continue traveling to awesome places and meeting rad people, and make a BUNCH of money doing it!

IF YOU COULD BE ANYONE (OR ANYTHING) WHO/WHAT WOULD YOU BE? I’m thinking an animal maybe a Black Panther

WHEN YOU’RE OFF THE SNOW, WHAT DO YOU SPEND YOUR TIME DOING? Trying to find ways to get back on the snow as quickly as possible

HOW WOULD YOUR DREAM LIFE PAN OUT? Would be rad to be paid a heap load for what I am doing, get a couple of houses in each hemispheres, add a few sleds and trucks to that list and and just shred all the time. Hippy on snow without the dreads!
