The World Uni Games are all over, I had a the best whirlwind time on and off the snow!
Check out Studentville on C4 coming up in April to catch all the action and craziness of the universaide! Hamish the cameraman man followed us NZ teamers around for some solid good times! Was stoked I could show him round in the 18th century village of Bardonecchia and Discos, not to mention the closing ceremony in Torino!
I unfortunately tore something in my knee, so the competing was so average, completely gutted, wasn’t my usual powerhouse rider ripping the course up, but I know what I have to do to compete with riders from around the world, some who were Olympians from 2006!
I represented NZ to the fullest and made heaps of mates from around the world! Id tell anyone who’s thinking of going to go no doubt! Such good times I might even consider doing another paper to go again in two years time!
Cheers to Poland, Bulgaria and Slovinia fo sho!!!!They know how to party!
