Code Red House

Mission

Back in 2010 Mountain Dew Code Red was launched, the new berry flavoured Mountain Dew, in a campaign called ‘Don’t Dew this at Home’ where the crazy Mountain Dew ambassadors took over a house and turned it into the Code Red House.

Who

Brett Band (Skateboarder), HaimonaNgata (BMX) and Brad Smeele (Wakeboarder) were all challenged to convert the Code Red House into their very own skateboard, BMX and Wakeboarding ramps and perform the craziest stunts through the Code Red House.

Where

The Code Red House was based in a secret location in Auckland on the water’s edge of Auckland Harbour.

What

This resulted in a ‘Don’t Dew this at Home’ expose as Brett, Haimona and Brad pulled the sickest tricks that you would love to try after a few Dews!

Brett pulled a stunt by dropping in from a windowinto the living room, front side ollie off a table, front tailed across the mantelpiece and then carved up around the room before ollying out the window and grinding down a ladder from the 2nd floor.

Then Haimonafreestyledthrough the Code Red House by hopping his BMX down the stairs, busted a quick manual across the table and then a 360 out the window onto a couch below.

Brad was crazy enough to be pulled on his wakeboard by a jetski(set up out in the water of Auckland harbour) from the 2nd floor through the living room, skim across the coffee table and then gap it out the 2nd floor window before landing in the ocean below.

Fans saw glimpses of these crazy antics on TV and then could check out the full video clips on the Code Red website. They also had the chance to register online for a chance to open the Code Red vault and pick a Mountain Dew Code Red prize.

Remember Don’t Dew this at Home!
